Several administrative moves including one retirement were announced recently by the Forsyth County Board of Education.

Pam Bibik will move from her current position as assistant principal at Lambert High School to principal at Riverwatch Middle School. Scott Feldkamp will also make the jump from assistant to principal, moving from his current job at Lakeside Middle School to principal at Vickery Creek Middle School. Karl Mercer will switch from his position as director of Accountability to become principal at West Forsyth High School.

All of the changes will take effect when the 2017-2018 school year starts in August.

The board also approved the retirement of Kathie Braswell from principal at Brookwood Elementary School. Braswell is a more than 20-year veteran of the district and became the first principal for Brookwood when it opened in 2009.
