Forsyth County's dog parks at the Caney Creek Preserve, Windermere Park and Fowler Park were scheduled to reopen Monday, as was the skate park at Fowler Park, according to a Forsyth Parks and Recreation announcement.

Other facilities, including trails, disc golf courses, boat launches, tennis courts, passive use areas and the Big Creek Greenway also are open. However, playgrounds; the Central Park, Fowler Park and Old Atlanta Park recreation centers; and the Sawnee Mountain Preserve Visitor Center remain closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the county said.

Athletic leagues are suspended until further notice; recreation classes and pavilion rentals are canceled through May 31; and summer camps and indoor facility rentals are canceled through June 14. For updated information on facilities open and closed: https://bit.ly/3bA6FtD
