Forest Park police looking for man wanted for murder
Forest Park police are looking for a man wanted on a murder charge.
Victorino Javier Perez, 41, is suspected of shooting 21-year-old Michael Chaz Smith in the head Tuesday night at the Majestic Montega apartment complex on Old Dixie Road, according to police.
Smith was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
A warrant for issued for Perez’s arrest on a murder charge.Police were searching Wednesday for Perez, who they believe to be armed.
