For Decatur man, third lottery win is his biggest prize
Christian Derricks of Decatur won a 2015 Kia Optima EX in Georgia Lottery's Jackpot Series Second Chance promotion.
When a Decatur man stopped working 12 years ago, he probably had no idea he would be so lucky in retirement.
Three times Christian Derricks, 64, has hit the jackpot in a Georgia Lottery promotion.
On Thursday, the Delta Air Lines retiree was handed the keys to a 2015 Kia Optima EX from Ed Voyles Kia — his prize in the Jackpot Series Second Chance promotion. Derricks plans to use the prize as his primary car.
In 2012, he won $10,000 in aa instant game and he brought home another $2,600 from Cash 4 in 2013.
Derricks and his wife Paulette, have three grown children and one grandson.
