It’s that time of year, folks.

We know what you’re thinking: “Wouldn’t it be great if the flu shot was like the tetanus shot, and I only had to get it every 10 years?”

Instead of thinking wishful thoughts, know this: Seasonal flu activity can begin as early as October and continue to occur as late as May (peaking between December and March), so the Center for Disease Control recommends getting a flu vaccine by the end of October.
