Flowery Branch man killed in Augusta
A Flowery Branch man was shot to death in Augusta early Sunday, police said.
Buchanan Marshall, 29, was shot at least once in the 1800 block of Cooney Circle, the Augusta Chronicle reports.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:40 a.m., said Richmond County Chief Deputy Coroner Mark Bowen.
Details of the shooting were not released because of the ongoing investigation. An autopsy has been scheduled at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Augusta laboratory.
