Woodstock and Cherokee County firefighters fought a blaze early Tuesday which gutted one town home and damaged two others.

Officials said the fire at 1112 Cousins Street, east of downtown Woodstock, started shortly after 5 a.m. and displaced 12 people. Two occupants were treated for smoke inhalation and other injuries at a hospital after jumping from a second-story window to escape the flames. No firefighters or other responders were hurt.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
