Film to shoot in downtown McDonough

A film production crew will take over a parking area in downtown McDonough on Dec. 13 after an agreement was approved by the Henry County Board of Commissioners at its Oct. 20 regular meeting. The producers of “A Meyers Christmas” will use two parking lots and the parking deck just north of the square behind the judicial buildings as a base camp while shooting various scenes in town, according to a county spokesperson. They will pay the county $3,000 for the day.
