A New York man is being sought by Fayetteville police regarding a shooting Friday night.

Lt. Mike Whitlow said Dajour E. Weston, 19, is considered a fugitive from warrants of aggravated assault after shots were fired in the parking lot of the Goodwill store at 1415 Ga. Hwy. 85 just after 5 p.m. on Oct. 7. All seven men seen near a vehicle fled the scene, but a man who had been shot was found at a convenience store in Riverdale soon afterwards.

Fayetteville detectives have interviewed several witnesses and the unnamed victim was taken to Atlanta Medical Center with non-life-threatening wounds. Weston is believed to be heading back to New York. Anyone with information should call 770-461-4441.
