The city of Fayetteville is moving forward with creating its new comprehensive plan by hosting a community workshop at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at City Hall, 240 S. Glynn St.
The city wants input from a wide range of local stakeholders in order to put together a growth and development plan that reflects citizen priorities. The plan, which must be completed by next spring, will be a blueprint for population, housing, environmental protection, economic development, historic preservation, land use, transportation, urban design, community facilities, public safety and utilities.
The current plan and more information are posted at www.fayetteville-ga.gov.
