The Fayette County Board of Education has posted a detailed question-and-answer description of its new Center of Innovations program online.

The partnership between the county and the Southern Crescent Technical College will offer courses in culinary arts and healthcare science at the former Fayette Intermediate School building in Fayetteville, starting this coming school year. The document lists the costs, structure, goals and staffing of the program, which was approved earlier this year to provide more vocational training opportunities for students.
