The chairman of the Fayette County Republican Party claims that members of the U.S. media and others “hell-bent on destroying America” are wearing purple neckties and other garments as a form of subliminal “mind-control” to promote atheism, abortion, civil disobedience, gender cross-over and “lack of respect for the rule of law.”

The FCRP posted Tyrone K. Jones Sr.’s Chairman’s Pen essay on Facebook on Nov. 26. Jones said media pundits “have a silent signal that they send out to one another” to “help lead this country down the path of spiritual, moral and social decadence.”
