Eric Maxwell and Randy Ognio will remain the chairman and vice chairman, respectively, for the Fayette County Board of Commissioners in 2018. Both were re-elected unanimously during the board’s first meeting of the year on Jan. 11.
The commissioners also voted 5-0 to reauthorize the chairman, vice chairman and County Administrator Steve Rapson to execute contracts, resolutions, agreements or other documents approved by the board.
Checks for less than $4,999 can be signed by any of the three, but checks for more than $5,000 must be signed by any two of the three.
