A white hearse carried the body of Brown to her wake at the Murray Brothers funeral home in southwest Atlanta.

Channel 2's Tyisha Fernandes saw family and friends carry flowers inside and they hugged one another at the door.

Security was so tight, Channel 2's cameras caught one of the security guards shoving a photographer when he stepped onto the property to get a shot of father Bobby Brown walking in.

Bobby Brown's white limo sped past reporters and photographers leaving the last viewing for his 22-year-old daughter before her funeral at the St. James United Methodist Church on Webb Bridge Road in Alpharetta.

"It's sad that she died that way, but things happen," Dave Wilmont told Fernandes.

Alpharetta police are expecting to deal with a traffic mess because of the funeral. They already have signs on Webb Bridge Road that say, "detour at West Side Saturday 9 a.m.- 2 p.m."

Fernandes spoke to residents who live near the church Friday night and many of them didn't even know that Brown's funeral was being held in their neighborhood.

"I had no idea about that. I live just up the road," Matthew Johnson said.

"It's OK. It's not going to really hurt nothing. It's going to slow stuff down, but just out of respect for her, or the Brown family, I think it's OK," Wilmont said.

Other roads in the area may also be temporarily closed or have lane restrictions due to the service, police said.

The Georgia State Patrol will be assisting Alpharetta police with traffic control.
