The Friends of Cobb Public Library will host its annual semi-annual book sale this weekend at Jim Miller Park in Marietta.
Available items will include books, magazines, textbooks and movies ranging from 10 cents to $5. Proceeds from the sale benefit the county’s library system. Last year’s sales generated about $80,000 for new library materials, including books and DVDs.
The sale runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the park, 2245 Callaway Road in Marietta.
