An entrance to the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center parking lot will close for two weeks to accommodate ongoing construction, the county announced.

The east entrance will close on March 26. Traffic will detour to the west entrance at the intersection of Constitution Boulevard and Langley Drive. The entirety of the parking lot will still be accessible.

The construction project will realign the parking entrance and reopen one lane of traffic in each direction on Langley Drive. A new plaza and main walkway have already opened, and a passenger drop-off area, additional handicap parking and new walkways are also in the project’s plans.

The west entrance to the GJAC parking lot closed for six weeks in October and November, and has since reopened.

The county cautions people who have jury duty or other reasons to visit the building to allow extra travel time during construction. The east parking lot entrance should be re-opened by April 9.
