A team from Atlanta's  B.E.S.T. Academy will compete in the national finals at the Southeastern Consortium for Minorities in Engineering design competition, June 26-29 at the University of Alabama. The goal of the competition is to prepare students to enter and complete post-secondary studies in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
