An Einstein Bros. Bagels in Gwinnett County failed a routine health inspection this week after an official found mold on food in the cooler.
The location in Duluth received a failing score of 64 on Thursday, according to a report published by Gwinnett County. An inspector noted that fruits and vegetables were not properly washed, food was not time-stamped correctly and mold was growing on a couple of strawberry packages.
A follow-up inspection is expected to take place within 3-10 days.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution was not immediately able to reach the business for comment: No one at the location answered the phone and no voicemail or email options were available.
