Ebony Society hosts Gwinnett MLK events

The United Ebony Society of Gwinnett County will sponsor two events to commemorate the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday.

The society will sponsor essay readings and performances by Gwinnett students at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Meadowcreek High School, 4455 Steve Reynolds Blvd., Norcross.

It also will sponsor a parade at 10 a.m. Monday at the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse, 185 Crogan St., Lawrenceville. Transportation will be provided from Central Gwinnett High School from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. For more information visit www.unitedebonysociety.org.
