East Point to discuss TADs, grants and Fords

Nov 6, 2015The East Point city council will hold a regularly scheduled meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Jefferson Station Council Chambers, 1526 East Forrest Ave., Suite 400.
A public hearing will be held during the meeting to address a proposed amendment to two East Point ordinances, and consideration of the Pyramids Lounge main alcohol license. The council will consider approval of an application for a 2015 Recreational Trails grant of $125,000, as well as two TAD issues.
Another item to be considered is the purchase of a 2016 Ford Explorer and two 2015 Ford F350 crew cabs pickup trucks as rescue vehicles.
