East Lake Road closure announced

East Lake Road from Hwy. 20 to Harper Road is temporarily closed through July 28 for the safety of ongoing traffic while grading and excavating work is being completed, according to county officials. Message boards and signs have been installed in three separate locations to warn drivers of the closure and to direct them through a detour. The detour will take drivers south of the closure, to lead them around the section of East Lake Road that is under construction. The section of East Lake Road west of Hwy. 20 will remain open.
