The Lawrenceville City Council voted Monday to approve $237,839 for a Pedestrian Safety Project along East Crogan Street from Stanley Court to a point about 600 feet west of Village Way.

The project includes sidewalks, curb and gutter, drainage and driveway modifications on the south side of East Crogan. The city project ends at the beginning of an intersection improvement project proposed by Gwinnett DOT that includes adding turn lanes.

The city’s portion of the project goes to low bidder, DAF Concrete Inc. and is being coordinated with the county’s efforts.
