Earth Day event examines creatures of the Chattahoochee

The Environmental Education Center at 8615 Barnwell Road will be the site for the second annual Johns Creek Earth Day celebration Saturday. Once again, the free event will focus on amphibians and reptiles of the Chattahoochee River Watershed. A frog monitoring workshop will run from 2:30 -- 6:30 pm, followed by a family reptile and campfire event from 7:30 – 10:30 pm.

Sponsors include the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, the John's Creek Community Wildlife Habitat Project and Whole Foods Market of Johns Creek.
