Early voting starts March 2 in Cobb for presidential primary

Cobb County will open several polling sites in March to allow residents to vote early in the March 24 presidential primary.

Early voting starts Monday for the upcoming primary, and Cobb Elections and Voter Registration Director Janine Eveler encourages voters to check their registration status and polling place with the Secretary of State's website.

Two locations will open Monday through Friday, March 2-6 and March 9-13 and Saturday, March 7 and 14: the Cobb Elections main office at 736 Whitlock Avenue in Marietta and the Senior Wellness Center at 1150 Powder Springs Street in Marietta.

You can vote at these two locations 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Four more locations will be added for Saturday voting on March 14: North Cobb Senior Center at 3900 South Main Street in Acworth, Riverside EpiCenter at 135 Riverside Parkway in Austell, East Cobb Government Service Center at 4400 Lower Roswell Road in Marietta and Ward Recreation Center at 4845 Dallas Highway in Powder Springs.

Early voting will continue at the aforementioned sites and expand to the following locations March 16-20: Noonday Baptist Church-East Campus at 4120 Canton Road in Marietta, Tim D. Lee Senior Center at 3332 Sandy Plains Road in Marietta, Ron Anderson Recreation Center at 3820 Macedonia Road in Powder Springs and Windy Hill Community Center at 1885 Roswell Street in Smyrna.

The Cobb County Geographical Information System department has created a map featuring the wait times at early voting sites. You can click here to access that tool.


READCobb weighs more polling place changes ahead of November


No voting will be held Saturday, March 21 or Monday, March 23. Voters must cast ballots at their assigned precincts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 24.
