Early voting is underway in Fulton County for a county commission seat and an Atlanta school board seat.

Tuesday is election day for two runoff races: between Joe Carn and Gordon Joyner to fill the unexpired term of District 6 Fulton County Commissioner Emma Darnell, who died this spring, and between Aretta Baldon and Davida Huntley to fill the District 2 seat vacated by Byron Amos, who left the school board to run for Atlanta city council.

Early voting is open until Friday.

It takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Early voting will take place at the C.T. Martin Natatorium and Recreation Center at 3201 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW in Atlanta; the East Point Library at 2757 Main St. in East Point; the Fairburn Library at 60 Valley View Drive in Fairburn; the Fulton County Government Center at 130 Peachtree St. SW in Atlanta; and the South Fulton Service Center at 5600 Stonewall Tell Road in College Park.

The county commission seat covers much of the southern part of Fulton County. The school board seat represents central Atlanta.

Turnout for the earlier race was 4%.
