Barbara Rosolino, honors English and AP Literature and Composition teacher at Eagle’s Landing High School, was named Teacher of the Year for Henry County Schools. The announcement was made during the Harvest of Heroes ceremony Thursday night at the Performing Arts Center.

Rosolino was a finalist along with Tina McPherson (Stockbridge Elementary) and Sheila Thomas-Johnson (Henry County Middle School). A veteran of 34 years and a National Board certified teacher, Rosolino will now represent Henry County in the Georgia Teacher of the Year competition.
