In an effort to lift spirits, “spark joy and creativity,” Duluth is issuing a TikTok challenge. Whether it’s the newest dance trend, or a funny quarantine story to share, the city is encouraging your best and funniest creative efforts.

“We hope this challenge will inspire Duluthians of all ages to continue engaging with our community, even if it is through a virtual connection. We cannot wait to see all of the creative entries start to come in” said Duluth’s Senior Marketing Coordinator Talore Ruedt.

To participate create a TikTok video and post it to your TikTok account using the hashtag #SoDuluth and tag the Duluth TikTok account (@CityofDuluthGA). Then check out the #SoDuluth hashtag and vote for your favorite video(s) by liking them. The video with the most likes by April 30 will be awarded a $50 gift card to a local business.

There are no limits on the number of entries each contestant can submit, but all entries must be family friendly. All videos submitted with #SoDuluth hashtag may be downloaded and shared across Duluth social media.
