Thousands are expected to pour into downtown Duluth this weekend for the annual fall festival.

In its 27th year, the two-day festival kicks off with a parade at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The event features a 5k road race, silent auction and more than 350 booths for arts and crafts and food vendors. New this year are carnival rides.

Admission is free and open to the public.

There are three parking lots with shuttles running throughout the weekend.
