Duluth is poised to amend the city charter to create the position of city manager and eliminate the position of city administrator.

City officials will conduct a public hearing August 8 to get feedback on the amendments that cover the change.

The hearing starts at 7 p.m. at Duluth City Hall at 3167 Main Street. The amendments will be proposed that day and then considered for adoption on Sept. 12.
