Duluth Mayor Nancy Harris and city leaders will discuss the city’s ongoing growth and plans for the future at the 2018 State of the City address at 7 p.m. Jan. 22 at the Red Clay Music Foundry, 3116 Main St. The event, titled “The ‘Be Duluth’ Show” will update the community on all things Duluth. In other news, Duluth has announced the city will not formally host a new year’s eve celebration this year. Instead, the city is encouraging residents to visit one of the many downtown restaurants, many of which are new this year as the city’s downtown development is nearing completion.
