A defective underground wire was the cause of a 75 minute power outage in Atlanta's Druid Hills area that resulted in a delay in the Druid Hills versus North Springs high school football game and a  rescheduling of the Tucker-Douglass game until 3 p.m. Saturday.

The outage affected about 4,500 customers and was restored around 9:15 p.m, said  Georgia Power spokeswoman Christy Ihrig.
