Drew wins charter of year award

Atlanta’s Drew Charter School was named the 2012 Georgia Charter School of the Year by the Georgia Charter Schools Association. Drew was recognized for “academic excellence on standardized tests, operational sustainability and sound fiscal practices,” according to the association. The award includes a $50,000 grant.
