An intersection in downtown Acworth will close as crews replace and upgrade the traffic signals and poles.

Acworth police said in a Facebook post that the intersection of Main and Lemon streets will become a three-way stop during construction, which is slated to begin Tuesday.

Cpl. Youlanda Leverette said the project is expected to take a month.

This is the intersection by Al Bum’s Record Shoppe and Lacey Drug Company.
