The Doraville Planning Commission denied approval of a conditional use permit during the regular meeting last week. The permit, requested by Fen Bin Meng, president of the company was to allow Golden Horse Bus Inc. to operate a bus terminal from the parking lot of the property at 5600 Buford Highway, Suite 103.
Although the permit approval was recommended by planning commission staff with the condition that the company designate an area for parking two 45-foot buses during business hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and for loading and unloading the buses, the commission felt the operation was too burdensome for the other businesses and on traffic within the property’s parking lot.
