On four dates in October, Fulton County residents can get preventive health care screenings, for free or at discounted costs, through the SPARC Atlanta program. Sickness Prevention Achieved through Regional Collaboration is a partnership between the Atlanta Regional Commission and the Fulton County Office of Aging, aiming to increase the number of older adults getting flu shots, pneumonia vaccinations, mammograms and other screenings.

The first clinic date is Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Radcliffe Presbyterian Church, 286 Hamilton E. Holmes Drive, N.W., Atlanta. Information: 404-613-6000.
