Dickerson named McDonough administrator

The McDonough City Council named Keith Dickerson its new city administrator at the Jan. 5 council meeting. He was previously the city’s public works director for several years. Dickerson is the eighth administrator in the city’s history and the second to be promoted internally to the position, according to Mayor Billy Copeland. He succeeds Frederick Gardiner, who recently became city manager of East Point.
