DeKalb County residents can have some input on where their sales tax money will go to help with road improvements and other transportation initiatives.

Residents are invited to give input on the proposed project list for the Transporation Investment Act. In 2012, voters will be asked to increase the penny sales tax to pay for transportation upgrades. Each county must submit a list to the state Department of Transportation and Atlanta Regional Commission by March 30, county officials said.

Public information sessions are scheduled for March 1 at Miller Grove High School, March 2 at Columbia High, March 7 at Tucker High and March 9 at Chamblee High. All of the meetings start at 6:30 p.m.
