A fugitive wanted in a DeKalb County killing, who had been on the run for 10 months, has been captured in El Paso, Texas, Channel 2 Action News reports.
Deanthony Hartsfield, 22, is in the DeKalb County Jail now. He's accused of fatally shooting 18-year-old Dominique George during a home invasion robbery at an Avondale Estates apartment last June.
District Attorney Robert James told Channel 2 the killing was part of a scheme in which "we have adult males that are using juvenile females to set up people and rob them."
George met two 15-year-old girls and was having a good time with them, his mother told Channel 2. Then Hartsfield and two others came in the apartment and robbed him of $350 he had earned working at Waffle House. During the robbery, George was shot and killed.
The other four suspects were already in custody.
