Two DeKalb County men remained in  jail Thursday after being arrested for allegedly holding two teenage girls against their will.

DeKalb police Lt. Pam Kunz said Thursday that officers responding to a 911 call about a distressed female needing assistance in the area of McAfee Road and Rosewood roads early Saturday found a 17-year-old girl who told them that she and another teenage girl were being held against their will at a home on nearby Miriam Lane.

The girl also told officers that she was being forced into prostitution, Kunz said.

When officers responded to the Miriam Lane address, “the occupants refused to open the door,” Kunz said.

She said the DeKalb police SWAT team served a search warrant on the home and found a 16-year-old girl inside.

The younger girl was taken into protective custody, and the older teen was taken to a local hospital for treatment of moderate injuries, Kunz said.

Police arrested Darryl Bernard Curry, 47, and John Anderson, 31, on multiple charges.

Curry was charged each with two counts of sexual exploitation of a child, two counts of false imprisonment, cruelty to children 1st degree and obstruction. Anderson was charged with two counts of cruelty to children 2nd degree, giving false information to officers and obstruction.

Curry remains jailed on a $510,000 bond, while Anderson is being held on a $120,000 bond.
