DeKalb County residents interested in starting a community garden or wanting to learn more about community-supported agriculture can attend a new workshop on the topic this weekend.

The Community Gardening Workshop, hosted by CEO Burrell Ellis and county Commissioner Kathie Gannon, will feature exhibitions, training and representatives from several community organizations.

The workshop runs from 9 a.m. to noon on Jan. 30 at Georgia Perimeter College’s Decatur campus. The event is free and open to the public.
