Come on down, David Smalls. You’re the next contestant on “The Price is Right.”

The DeKalb County firefighter will appear on Friday’s Super Bowl-themed episode of the game show.

The appearance is sort of a dream come true for Smalls.

“It’s a kid thing,” he said. “I grew up watching it with my grandmother and have always said ‘I would love to be on that show one day.’”

Smalls, 50, said he came across a notice about an upcoming recording for the show.

“I was on vacation and it worked out to where I could take the time and go,” he said.

Smalls had been an audience member at “The Price is Right” twice before, but he was never called as a contestant.

When he heard his name this time, “I was ultimately shocked,” he said.

The New York native told himself to pace his walk up to the stage, but failed. “You just almost lose it as your name is called,” he said.

Smalls is prohibited from talking about his success or any winnings before the show airs Friday, but he said there’s more to the game than you think.

“It’s a challenging game,” he said. “When you’re there doing it, it’s a whole different game.”

As for the fun stuff: “(That) isn’t on camera,” Smalls said, adding he got to meet Drew Carey.

“He tells jokes, interacts with the audience and asks questions about (contestants),” he said.

Smalls’ episode airs 11 a.m. Friday on CBS.
