Decatur police departments will accept prescription drugs for safe disposal at a special event later in April.

The Drug Enforcement Administration’s Drug Take-Back Day allows residents to safely get rid of unwanted, unused or expired medicines.

The city will accept prescriptions between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. April 27 at the police communications center, 314-C Church St.
