Decatur police think three burglaries that happened from 3:10 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday could be related.

The houses all had doors kicked in, with the door frame busted in the area of the deadbolts. The deadbolts were still engaged, though rendered useless by the kicks.

One break-in happened on Westchester Drive and a laptop was stolen.

A resident on Maederis Drive reported a box of paperwork containing personal information stolen.

The third burglary was on Superior Avenue, where a desktop computer was taken.

Investigators responded to all three scenes and are looking for a suspect or suspects.
