In recent years almost all of Decatur’s public parks and green spaces, including the city cemetery, have received extensive makeovers. Now, as of next month, all 12 city-park facilities get new freestanding identification signs at their entrances.

Each will include city logo, park name and hours of operation. Other features include a ½-inch thick aluminum panel with digitally printed graphics set on an aluminum tube with a concrete base. Cost is $24,000 for design and installation.
