The Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center is seeking environmentally friendly houses made of edible materials for its annual Sustainable Gingerbread House Contest. The house must highlight sustainability and green building design, featuring at least 3 sustainable building elements: solar panels, rain barrels, green roof, windmills, etc. Entry Form due: Nov. 30. Gingerbread Houses will be on display Dec. 6 through Jan. 5 at the center, 2020 Clean Water Drive in Buford.
