1 dead in N. Druid Hills crash
An early Saturday crash on North Druid Hills Road left one driver dead and another in critical condition, DeKalb County authorities said.
The driver who was killed was traveling westbound in a minivan on North Druid Hills Road when he crossed the center line near Arbordale Drive, police spokesman Major Lionel Higdon told Channel 2 Action News. The driver collided head-on with an oncoming truck.
Weather was not considered to be a factor in the accident, Higdon told Channel 2.
The driver of the truck was left hospitalized in critical condition. The driver of a third vehicle involved in the accident was not injured.
