One man was killed and another critically injured after two employees were shot at a southwest Atlanta tattoo parlor Wednesday night.
Officers were called to the business, located at 806 Lee Street near The Mall West End, at 6 p.m. following a report of shots being fired, according to Officer John Chafee with Atlanta police. Two men who had been shot were found inside the parlor, he said.
One victim, believed to be in his late 30s, died in the business from his injuries, Chafee said. The second victim, believed to be in his mid-20s, was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition after being shot in the chest, according to police.
The victims’ names were not released.
Homicide detectives remained on the scene late Wednesday.
