A 64-year-old woman from Dallas claimed her $7.5 million lottery prize Tuesday — three months after the numbers were announced.

Christina Ford, 64,  split the $15 million Mega Millions jackpot drawn July 22 with someone who purchased a ticket in Virginia.

The winning numbers were: 8-24-25-26-30, and the Mega Ball was 7. She bought her ticket from the Kroger located at 8876 Dallas Acworth Highway using the Quik Pik option.

Ford was in disbelief when she saw the winning numbers on television.

"I thought it was a dream," she said according to a lottery new released. "I kept saying, 'Yeah, right. This can’t be true.'"

It took three months to claim the prize because she was planning, the lottery agency said.

"She intends to use her winnings to vacation and share with her family," the release said.
