Citing “social distancing” and the extension of Gov. Brian Kemp’s shelter-in-place order due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Cumming said it is extending through April 30 the closure to the public of all city owned and operated facilities.

"During the extended closures, city of Cumming employees will still report to work whenever possible and continue to conduct city business via telephone and/or email while practicing social distancing, stringent hand-washing, and other good hygiene measures while at work," according to a city announcement.
