Crews are fighting a fire at a Sandy Springs apartment complex.

Sandy Springs police said the fire broke out at Dunwoody Station Apartments just before 9 p.m.

They said Peachtree Dunwoody Road was closed in the area due to the fire.

Firefighters were still at the scene late Saturday. They said they would likely continue working overnight to find and monitor hot spots.

They said 36 units were affected by the blaze and that it may have started in an attic.
